EVENT
The French composer and performer godfather and pioneer of electronic music, electro-rock and ambient music debuts in the country on November 9 at the GEBA Stadium with his "Electronic Tour 2017" tour.
Famous for its amazing visual effects and the use of innovative digital technology, which millions of people around the world have been able to enjoy, the live show is a true musical journey, with Jarre presenting new works of his wonderful double LP, 'Electronic' Along with classic albums that have been milestones such as Oxygene and Equinoxe.
Jean-Michel Jarre to perform in South America at the end of 2017
The mage of electronic music will land in South America later this year. After so much speculation and frustrated attempts to bring Jean-Michel Jarre to the continent, the artist's own producers included Chile , Argentina and Brazil on the "Electronica" world tour.
The shows have, for the time being, a confirmed date only for our Argentine 'siblings' and for Chile, and will take place respectively on November 2 and November 14. Within a few weeks, confirmation of the date for a show in São Paulo is expected, but this is still in a conversation between the organizers and the Brazilian producers involved in the show.
The tour of South America was scheduled for 2018, but other plans, including the recordings of a new album, advance the decisions of the Jarre producer.
On Facebook, Jarre officially updated the new "EVENTS" for the Concerts in Chile and Argentina.
In the description of the concert in Chile, he says:
"Jean-Michel Jarre will tour for the first time in Latin America, in Buenos Aires on Nov 9th, Santiago de Chile Nov 14th & Punta del este on Nov 18 Th".
I exchanged messages with an important Uruguayan musician, who is Jarre's friend, Emil Montgomery, he spoke with Fiona Commins who said the Punta del Este show in Uruguay is a private show.

According to melo, it's almost certain promoters won't / can't invite him to Brazil.
Hi !
Shows are hopefully planned in Brazil next March 2018...
Too many (international) concerts on tour in Brazil this November..according to our agent.
Thanks
Fiona.

Altough the tour will stand on 2 or 3 events, I think the tour itself is not question anymore, so question mark may be deleted anyway.
