look part of the stage...like the official poster.

(thanks to Fairlight Jarre Forum)
I'm sure that not coincidental. Whatever mis-en-scene JMJ is planning, the official concert poster is reflecting that in it's design.

I hope they'll do a proper recording (blu-ray) of that gig. :smoke:

Work session stage design for Monaco concert - Séance de travail pour le design du concert de Monaco...
So, we have the obligatory plug for besides the concert: Coca cola, Apple, his new album, and, from what I can see, tap water :P
You are good. All I could see was Jean Michel and what was on the x2 pc screens. 8)
I did see Jean Michel and the screens first (actually 3, but one is partially obscured). Then the Coke can caught my eye and it went from there.

When you said Apple last night I thought you meant an apple. :robertdugenou:

Don´t you worry, there will, be absolutely sure of that  This is not just a "normal" Jarre concert, this is more than that, the whole world will be watching :D So of course he will release a blu-ray/dvd of this concert, and hopefully even a short while after. If not, he would be the most stupid person alive, if you know what I mean :D I mean, he almost can´t afford NOT to release this concert :P

But I guess we all know that anyway :D

Yes, totally agree. I still think the Monaco concert is the reason, why the already announced BluRay/DVD of the 2010 tour got cancelled at the beginning of this year. Monaco is THE perfect occasion.

If nothing goes heavily wrong, though... don't forget, the Twelve Dreams Of The Sun never got an official release due to fog etc.

I wish you were right... But in such a case, maybe he should wipe the "Wedding speech" part off the record.

Oh, you are in for such a big treat called Jarre Heaven. Be very prepared, if you can. :D

I really hope so Kanta, I remember the sense of anticipation before DD, PLD and EiC and the amazement when each show was 10 times better than was expected. Jarre not just a music artist but a visual artist aswell, but lately the visual has taken a back seat in terms of magnitude.

The Jarre package is new album followed by a MASSIVE spectacular show ( with sunglasses and long jacket!).

I do hope he plays some of the Rarities at Monaco. Some of them will sound good with a bit of re-orchestration. In addition it would be good if he played some of the "never played in concert" tracks ie Blah-Blah Cafe with a long, heavy bass intro with plenty of searchlights, skytrackers and lasers. Anyway, I'm going on a bit.

"A concert glamorous, high-tech and popular"

Live streaming

The concert, filmed in HD will be broadcast live on Euronews. A coverage of almost 60 countries. "The news channel will interrupt its first programs," says Jean-Michel Jarre. The concert will be broadcast on the Web. A partnership was signed with YouTube. For images, cameras placed on an aerial drone will deliver the show.
