I stumbled upon this particular picture while browsing an offtopic forum about video/computer games. So yes, I'm desperate... desperate for new videogames! :P :punch:

A danish guy at my work was teaching us how to handle the operation process of a brand new electronic painting installation. It was all in danish and I mean "everything"!
From the computer software running the process to all the buttons everywhere around. We were seven people staring with our mouths open trying to get a hunch of what this man was talking about...when he laughed, we laughed only because apparently he was telling us some joke. Times like these body language really comes in quite handy and lucked enough there was also a swedish guy to fill in the talk if we really went dead stuck in some words. Somehow though things're moving on in the right direction.

I think maybe it could be an accential dilemma. Here in the north of Sweden many ppl finds it easier to understand norwegian but perhaps danish is easier to grasp for ppl from the south of Sweden. But there are some words that have similarities in those three countries only the pronunciations differs.

Probably because Skåne and that part of Sweden was Danish, or because it is almost captured by stupid danes who think they don't have to pay all the taxes by living in Sweden. I guess the worst part in understanding danish or the other way around, is the accent. Norwegian is the middle language between swedish and danish I think

Yeah, I think so. Danish is hard to understand if they are speaking a little fast. In Norway we say that the Danes have a potato in their throat....
