"spiritual experiences"

You mean, he sits on a large pillow, legs crossed, palms upturned, going "Oooooommm Oooooommm"

Im not sure. I connect contact with the death to the spiritual stuff.

It could also mean spiritual guidance. If he's taking a new route in music, he could be being 'guided' there.

Half-playback. ;-)

But I have another issue: Has anyone of you closely listened to the audio of the TV transmission? I can't help it, but it seems to me that they actually have mixed in faked applause & cheering from the audience and mixed it together with the original noise (e.g. in my eyes very evident at the beginning of Oxy 7). Just notice that there is a constant cheer & applause that gets faded in and out whereas real applause would just stop with single claps & cheers still coming from here or there. And I'm pretty sure people were quiet during Jarre's speeches just as they were in Gdansk and Aalborg. :D

Hmm Just Like Roland Orzabal from Tears for fears, who wouldn't say or do anything unless his Guru advised or told him to do so,he got so obsessed about what this guy used to tell him he almost commited suicide, and never left the house for the best part of 9 months for fear of being Killed etc..

Given that Jarres a Musician/Composer I'm surprised he never actually saw the benefits of spiritual experiences, any person whos heavily involved with Music will fully understand the power of Music and a higher state of consciousness it can attain, and I'm not talking about Drugs and crap I'm on about an emotional level,Jarre must be fully aware of his spiritual Harmony in order to achieve the Inspirational state to compose great songs having no control over Musical output other than just sheer inspiration is part of that Spiritual ability that we all have within us,just a shame its taken Jarre so long to fully be aware of it,but I find it hard to beleive he's never been that into it given he's produced some great emotional Music, but I suppose you never Experience your own music in the same way an audience does, but his Music has touched Millions os he must be focussed on his own Harmony to achieve it within his art

Meditation is a great way of becoming Focussed within yourself,Its not all about sitting there going Om,its a greatway to mentally balance yourself..

Is the audio out of sync or am I wrong? It seems to me it's 1 or 2 seconds delayed..
Wonderful stuff however!
