Armin van Buuren will be performing the song we made together live tomorrow night! Wish I could be there, instead I will watching from the studio. Don’t forget to tune in!

It's a terrible stream keeps going quiet and breaking up and buffering.

Where is this being held ?

I'm trying to rip it, but what ChoccyUK said is pretty much true - the stream keeps switching to highest quality which causes buffering, which then causes switching to lower quality and then back to highest quality after a while. And those two streams have different volume levels. And yet another problem is that I simply can't stand this "music". I mean, how long can you listen to buzzing supersaws and synth snare rolls before going insane?

NOW!! 8)

WHATT?? :o That's it? He played about 1,5 minutes and then went over to some Califonia Dreaming stuff...

Van Buuren sux...all just OMZ-OMZ-OMZ for 14yo lovers.

Holy smokes, that was awful. I'm not even sure when the track began and when it ended.

I never followed this genre, but I see it's basically "who will do a faster snare roll" competition.

So did they play the JMJ track because that was a terrible mess of all sounding the same.

Yeah, for 90 seconds or so.

Couldn't agree more.

I wouldn't consider this one of Buuren's better tracks. I like his music, I don't turn it off when I hear it (neither do I turn the volume up though), but the track just sounds... Off... Maybe it's the fact that it was such a short clip and (for lack of better words) a shitty performance but I thought this was going to click immediately when I heard the track in the Track Story...

I was never into dancemusic because I don't like to go to discotheques. Not my kind of music. Sound for me all the same. But I like the performance of Armin at Tomorrowland. We listen 3min38 from the dance-remix of Stardust and I need to say that I like it. Much better than most of the boring dance tracks. :) 8)

Greetings,

Christophe

He played 3min38 from the dance remix of Staredust. Before Armin announced it, it was also Stardust.

Why do they need a dance remix of a track that sounds dancey in its original form? :P

Here's hopes that JMJ has done his own version of Stardust.

I wouldn't have guessed it. It all sounds the same. I only recognized Stardust by the melody that JMJ is shown playing in the "track story" video. And that was AFTER his announcement.

Also, having heard what Van Buuren music is all about (absurdly fast snare rolls, and buzzing supersaws) I'm really surprised that people were holding their breaths for this particular collaboration.

It's not like Jarre hasn't dabbled with trance like music in the past. He did a long piece of that kind of music on the Bourges record. Although a lot more interestingly than most so called trance artists
