Quoting myself from FB comment:
While I love the idea behind the album, the fact that it's impossible too hear it in good quality is a waste. The vinyl record should have stayed completely unique, but the tapes should've been preserved for the future...

I truly hope the current unknown owner speaks up one day and says rather the record is still in good quality (and would be willing too offer a high quality rip). Personally I'm absolutely terrified it has gotten damaged beyond usage and some of the music will forever be lost too a terrible radio broadcast...

Now that I think about it. I know the Master Tape was destroyed, but whatever happened too the separate tapes?

Great news that Moog Music Inc. are recommencing a limited run manufacturing of three of their 5U large format modular synthesizers, originally created in 1973.
They have also made a fascinating documentary about how the instruments have contributed to the evolution of electronic music and how they can be part of the future too.
Watch it here:

The Aero shot should have come before the (I guess) 2007 Oxygene remaster one, otherwise one of my favourite JMJ facebuch photos. 8)

Very much enjoying Director John Carpenter's new album. His work across music and film has always been a great inspiration for me: http://po.st/JCLostThemes

I am always amazed and humbled to hear about some of the far flung corners of the globe where my music is being listened to. It shows the power of music to transcend borders.

Honestly, I wish they'd reveal where the "80 million records" figure comes from to finally solve the mystery for good.

Other than that, a lot of copies of Music for Supermarkets on that world map :P Still also boggles me how they treat bloody Odysseu 98 as a real album instead of Images. Oh well!
