I have a copy of that on DVD. It's unedited footage of the concert, directed by Mike Mansfield.

Yeah, CPLT is one of the best concert videos there are.

Except that this hasn't got this mysterious Channel 4 intro you keep talking about..?

Nope. That still remains exclusively on my VHS copy.

It's not really that special, but still better than what the LD has.

I think that intro is pretty fine... 8)

Well, it's the EIC tour heart-beatesque overture music with "JEAN-MICHEL JARRE: CONCERT POUR LA TOLERANCE" on the screen, I kind of liked Channel 4's montage of past concerts (and silly effects) better :P

Whatwhatwhat, I don't get it, is the video of the LD of CPLT different from the video we can find on the p2p ?

That too. The one around P2P is a poorly edited crap edition. You know there has been something wrong in someone's mind when they have cut something even Mike Mansfield hadn't cut :P

But still, I was referring to the airing of CPLT I saw from Finnish television in early 1996 which I still have on a (not too great quality) video tape, which was apparently Channel 4 airing of the concert which had this coolish intro before Chronologie 6. Also, quite many tracks were like glued together (so most of the applauses between tracks were cut off) so I think it was the version that was like cut a day after the concert or something.

If I could convert video tapes into digital form, I'd upload the intro just for kicks. I don't think most of you would think it's special, but I'll always think it's awesome :P

If you have the possibility to copy the tape to another tape and send it to someone having the material (I think, for example, about Dr Jones who can do that), that would be awesome aswell !!
I have to check what's the duration of CPLT video I have, but I guess the LD is lasting 103 minutes, no ?

On the P2P version, tracks like the whole Industrial Revolutions series are removed among others. It really sucks.

I have an exact copy of the LD.

It just lacks that Channel 4 TV intro which Finaero is talking about (which is not on the LD either)
