Why are you changing your amp and your TV ?
And why do you buy a WD and not a Seagate ?

Because when buying a PS3, I'd also like to have that BD-experience which only really comes through with a full HD TV and an amp with HDMI connection (which neither my TV nor ma amp have)

because there doesn't seem to be a Seagate 2.5" S-ATA HD with less than 10mm in height (the slot where to change the PS3 disk only allows a 10mm thick HD)
