BTW looks like they printed the track times from the first failed streaming release. I guess the back cover graphic design was too complex to change them

This is not such a problem.

It's the "we don't give a s**t" attitude. It's a huge problem. That's why we got s**tty audio in the first place.

I don't care that much 'cause this is how things go in general in Jarre world. Heyday is over.

And there is just a plain white inner sleeve, the cheapest one made of rough paper, 1000-grit
In other words:

At this point, still caring about a Jarre re-release is similar to an abusive relationship. We still all hope things will change for the best, but all know deep down the next one will be just as terrible, if not worse.
It's a shame that this keeps happening, these albums mean so much to me on a personal level. And how they're being presented currently is insane. They sound terrible, have legitimate huge, and outright unacceptable errors (not just talking about this remaster, also: Rendez-Vous tape distortion, Geometry missing audio, China LP having pressed in audio skips and the lost goes on) and rather than postponing the entire thing, and start from the best available sources from scratch. Here we are with an adjusted version of the reworked tracks rather than the originals. But this has been a running topic for over ten years now on this very forum as well. Back in 2015 we had thus very exact same discussion and it's an endless loop. It's a shame really

For - sort of - defending JM, Depeche Mode - fans alike - suffers from similar re-release/remaster issues.

Sad reality is it doesn't matter to most people. They're just happy to eat up with a spoon whatever they are served, no matter the quality or content, because their deity did *something*. There were a couple of complaints under the official post on Facebook about this release having basically no extra content, so I posted a link to my Ethnicolor Dead Sea mix as I know that many people wanted that and they only stumble upon it by chance on YT. I deleted that link within minutes as my video got instant 3 dislikes (I only had ONE since May 2024 from some random frustrated person) - like srsly WTF is wrong with those people?

The CD presentation is much better than the LP presentation. CD has a proper back like the original releases, not like the white back of LP release. It also has a mini-poster with the Zoolookologie 12" sleeve at the front and a cutout of the Zoolook sleeve with alternative colors (with Project Zoolook printed above it) on the other side. And it has a booklet with credits, which the LP doesn't have.

Those alternate colours are those that were released through (I think it was) Insta? Really liked that gray one!

yes the CD seems to be best option for me too but before I prefer to know if the quality is OK.
About Ethnicolor (one) and in particular if the clicks that can be heard in the corrected streaming have disappeared on the physical edition?
Thank you for this clarification
