Does anybody agree that this 'lockdown' the night before is for the rehearsals? I arrive in Bratislava on Saturday morning so will probably head towards the concert area that evening to scope out the stage setup, the wider area and get a sense of how it looks and sounds. And try to get a few photos of what's happening.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's for the rehearsals.

Looking very much like the Monaco set-up, with the circular light installations at the top of the towers. I wonder if Brian May will be up a tower at some point, with a guitar solo?

It seems to be part of the plan that the people will gather on the streets, bicycle lanes and walkways around the area, but one gets the impression it must not be announced officially. Anyway, one of my contacts told me: "It's a bit like Houston back then". I don't think anyone outside the area must be afraid that he or she can't stay there.
Really hope this is so for all those people travelling there.

The concert will also be recorded, with the purpose of creating a documentary movie and videos for social media.
This is good. Might this be part of the already speculated documentary they are making on JMJ?
