Thanks for the heads-up, Elf. I would have suggested my usual PLD questions but we know they're not gonna take place in our lifetime. ;)

Thanks a million for asking about this. I really appreciate it.

With regards to the mystery spectrogram

http://forumimage.ru/show/102932086

If I'm not mistaken the vertical lines separating the string into 4-dot groups are NOT in the original track and thus also added on purpose as well.

Those dots look like a Morse code or something.

EDIT: sorry, I hadn't noticed your post, 1906! Obviously you took it to the next level.

I'm betting on "or something". It's probably binary data (given that the sequences each contain 32 dots), but the decoded bytes do not make any sense to me.

First sequence
bin/dec/hex/ascii
01000010 = 66 = 42 = B
01000011 = 67 = 43 = C
01110110 = 118 = 76 = v
00111111 = 63 = 3F = ?

Second sequence
bin/dec/hex/ascii
01000000 = 64 = 40 = @
00010100 = 20 = 14 = n/a
10001101 = 141 = 8D = n/a
01011100 = 92 = 5C = \

If is not binary code, maybe could it be Braille or morse code.
I've tried UTF-8, ascii-7 bits... and I will try GSM encoding.

The two 32-bit strings are during the final notes of "Automatic pt. 2" (before "If"). When I checked out the regular version the vertical sub-division bars (that separate the dots into groups of 4) doesn't seem to be there, perhaps they are a clue (but I already mentioned that).

There is the sound like a clock ticking/footsteps in that transition. It's fading in and out and corresponds to the vertical bars, so I don't think it's a clue.

If you missed yesterday:
Here is the interview by Olaf Zimmermann (Radio Eins Berlin) :D

http://www.radioeins.de/programm/sendun ... ol-1-.html

He talked about his beginning as an assistant in a recording Studio, all Collaborateurs, and why he choosed them, Special details about the cooperation, and about the beginning of his new Shows (by the Track : Time Machine) next April and about a world tour next September.

Something was totally new for me: He told about a Special lithograph and painting he done for about 4-5 years. There he met David Lynch first time and they talked about a collaboration. From this grew the idea.

Did someone know about the paintings by JMJ ?

I think it was a project with music and lithographs 5 years ago. But I don't think it had to do with his paintings.
