What do we have now...

"ancient astronauts"
"trust your EYES"
"pyramid"
"obelisk"

We have to inform our DavidIcke-friends and see them discuss about how disturbing this all is :-)

If you know the music is embeded with reptilian agenda, don't listen to them even without lyrics. Even just having in it your own home will have an effect on you. Think, everything is vibration. Books can be charmed, so can music and its cover etc.... People have said in the past that it won't harm them by just listening but it does. I am sure of this now.

Now THAT'S some detective work, Jote.

(Of course, Place de la Concorde is fine and all and probably is more historical, but it should have been PLD instead >_>)

Thanks guys!

I should have come up with this earlier, but I subconsciously rejected it, because they did a very similar thing in "Interstellar" - it turned me off because the protagonist was able to tell almost instantly by looking at such code "oh, those are coordinates encoded in binary" (you gotta be pretty darn autistic to decipher IEEE754 floating point numbers on the fly). And so I initially dismissed it, but I had a gut feeling, that if that is a pair of numbers then it has to be geographical coordinates.

I actually "told him" by posting this to his facebook profile. No reply from JMJ, but I received an interesting one from someone else called "Andrei Stefan", who must be real fun at parties

"yes, you will get a very expensive virus ti synth that JMJ doesn't need anymore because it sounds worse than a vsti, it is harder to program and occupies too much space. You needed to make a lot of effort to decode this extraordinary piece of art and marvelous encryption so you found the absolute exact coordinates of this relic and you put your name on it like you discovered the Everest. Good luck discovering this secret messages hidden by Lord Jarre who is a god and you have to venerate his history because he is history now."

(In his facebook profile he apparently attends "self improvement" from 2000 to 2016 - judging by this post he's not making any progress...)

Seriously though, if anybody has a better idea how to "tell him" or can relay this message - I'd be thankful. Unless we're just looking at pieces of a puzzle and we're halfway there. I mean, it's an Obelisk of LUXOR. Ancient astronauts? Luxor? Hm...

Well done, Jote. :D

Few days ago i also did the conversion to float, to perhaps obtain some GPS coordinates (with focusing on Dates for The Time Machine) but my tool give me a "4.8....".
http://www.binaryconvert.com/result_flo ... l=4243763F
I didn't saw this "E1" at the end. I know that there are many, many french "gps" coordinates that start by "48.x" (mines for example)... it was not my day. :whistle

Who said "Always trust your vision" ?? :P

No prize yet, but at least there's this

(I know, I know, that's most likely just the fanpage admin. I also got a "like" from Claude Samard and he told me he'd relay it to JMJ when he'd see him)

Or it could be him. At the very least, he's surely aware by now :D

so the album performs great commercially - for an electronic artist very great! with highest chart positions since 80s. of course sales nowadays are generally lower but still... I am glad (#3 france, #5 Germany #8 UK etc).

Hello everyone,

Here is a translation of another "not-so-great" review (source: http://musique.blogs.lavoixdunord.fr/ar ... 14294.html). At least it's not a personal rant like the one in Le Monde, and the style is funny - I tried to render it in English. So here it is:

Thirty shades of Jean-Michel Jarre

Jean-Michel Jarre's eighteen's album, Electronica 1: The Time Machine was released this past Friday. We expected more from this project, which gathers thirty collaborators, and whose second part will be released next spring.

By Pierre Bouyx

We are tempted to say that we'll have to introduce the many collaborators of Jean-Michel Jarre on this album to the elderly. To the young, we'll have to explain who is this sexagenarian who teams up with the highly rated Gesaffelstein, the ultra-respected Boys Noize or superstar Armin van Buuren.

You, young cheeky kid, know that the influence of the king of the laser harp on electronic musics is undeniable. He was a pioneer, he who opened up then unexplored musical terrains. That was forty years ago... Sébastien Tellier, Air and Daft Punk all nod.

You, respectable elder who was delighted by Giorgio Moroder's exhumation a while ago, we hear your nostalgia. Let's espouse your soft look fixated on those colossal shows at the feet of the Eiffel Tower, on the Great Wall [sic, WTF?]...

Like Mario Bros for video games, his works constitutes a cornerstone in the history of electronic music. But is not match for current productions, style being so dependent upon technological evolution.

It was a nice project. "The concept of Electronica is to gather around me musicians from different generations, artists who have influenced me, who are a constant source of inspiration, people who have marked or are still marking electronic music, gather together a kind of tribe of friends who share a vision similar to mine." By going further we could wonder whether the king of the arpeggiator is attempting to set himself up as a father figure of electro...

That's the case for some, like M83, with whom he proposed Glory, one of the best compositions of this first chapter. For the rest, he won't be able to help Air breathe new life under their Oxygène tent. He won't be able to resuscitate Moby whose singing is more emollient than ever and who manages to put us to sleep, upon soporific pads, truth be told. Worse, hearing Pete Townshend stamp ("Move your feet to the beat") can be traumatizing.

The Time Machine is as artistically disappointing as the idea was ambitious and bold. This time machine is jammed and its music all too dated.

=================

On another subject, does anybody have any news about Francis Rimbert? On the new album Dominique Perrier got a thank you note in the credits, Claude Samard and Joachim Garraud worked on the production. But no trace of Francis!?!?

Cheers,
