Okay, what the hell??!

After the concert, my sister and I waited for him outside the stage door. He came out about 45 minutes later. Managed to get my Oxygene CD cover signed, back and front. My sister got her Magnetic Fields CD cover signed...

Yep, I was there... got my program signed

We waited at the stage door afterwards to catch a glimpse of Jarre,but we decided to Abort this after 25 mins... Not sure how long after Jarre came out of the stage door,but saw Kanta Again,more or less at the front of the Crowd...

Who's the guy with the mad large afro type cut on the back row... he shook Jarres hand after the performance he was then stood right in front of Kanta at the Stage door...

He was stood in front of me... had a dodgy French accent!

...then we waited at the stage door for an hour them jmj came out he signed my programe for me, then fiona came out...

Hang on a minute... I saw Fiona come out too!

hey nice photo, oh my god jarre is signing my program iam in front holding my programe out (im the one with the shaved head) my brother was their with the camera trying to take a picture of jarre signing my program but struggled a little to get one, thanks again for a great picture

Something's dodgy about them anyway, it lists Oxygene 7 and 8 instead of 12 and 13, a little odd...

I don't know how some of these stars can cope with all this "in your face" attitude from fans. If I were Jarre with all those items shoved in my face ready to be signed I would be shouting "back off guys and give me some room"

I don't know how some of these stars can cope with all this "in your face" attitude from fans. If I were Jarre with all those items shoved in my face ready to be signed I would be shouting "back off guys and give me some room"

Everyone was stood around in a fairly orderly fashion until he came out, but when he emerged all hell broke loose with people pushing forwards. Suprised that no security guys came out first to keep people back. As it was I couldn't move in or out and only held my record above my head to stop it being damaged otherwise i'd have waited patiently for JMJ to sign it.

It's one reason why I never approached with my kazoo... it remains unsigned and unplayed from when I packed it into my bag for the Friday. It saw daylight twice - and that was just to prove I'd got it!

But yes, as a claustrophobic, I felt for JMJ leaving the theatre here in Manchester and to see him nearly CARRIED to his car to get away is something that will live with me for a long time.
In fact, I cut my video just at that point. People waving assorted LPs at him and programmes and the likes... yeah, the thing is, BE lucky if he signs, you don't have to fence him in to get his autograph. If you can wait patiently long enough - as you will have done already, then it makes for a more pleasant experience when he can sign his own name without being almost crushed to death, poked by a cd case, LP cover or stray pen.

Those with cameras should also pay special attention to how bright the flash on your camera is from someone opposites perspective.

I know that JMJ is running this whole thing on a really tight schedule, it's just common sense to be a little more responsible for your own actions while waiting - afterall, he's just performed on stage for the last 90 odd minutes without nearly so much as a break, he's rehearsed most of the afternoon to get the sounds as much right as possible, he's probably not eating too well and needs to... so... yeah, a little thought first will pay more dividends than treating the whole thing as a rugby scrum.

I'd have loved to have shook JMJs hand, that would've held a higher honour than a signature on a cd. We can all have that handshake and thank him if we just be a little more patient.
It costs nothing, Jean Michel would appreciate it more and at the end of the day, it does make a more memorable experience

Yep, I was right at the front. I enjoyed it at first but when Jean Michel came out it went manic. Trying to get his autograph, my sister and I split. She went on one side and I was on the other. So he had no choice to see one of us and sign our CD covers. When I knew he was going on the other side which my sister was on, I got so upset and I couldn't breathe. I just wanted out from the scum. I said to the guy behind me can I get through and he said not don't go JMJ has to come this way. Jean Michel did after a minute or so. I am so grateful to that guy. Jean Michel's coat is very soft.

Who's the guy with the mad large afro type cut on the back row.....We seen him at Birmingham as well just loafing around,we spotted him out of all the crowd during the performance and he shook Jarres hand after the performance he was then stood right in front of Kanta at the Stage door...He seems to stand out a mile from everyone else...

That guy is French and I am pretty sure he is a member on the Aerozone forum. He was smoking and I thought he's gonna set me on fire because we were grouped together, very close.

I know but I don't get to see him much. I am very sorry if he feels like this. It's a 50/50 situation. I needed to see him. What can I do? I don't wanna upset him.

I hope I didn't offend with what I put. That was not my intentions. So I apologise if I have.

What I mean is that some of these stars must feel pressured when doing such things like this. Jarre clearly loves the attention, but as he gets older he must think it gets a little too much at times. This is something I saw myself when I was the representative for the composer/musician Jeff Wayne. I organised some of the shows at the NEC that he attended. At one particular NEC show, Jeff had come back from a series of talks around various countries. He was jet lagged, looking very tired, but he stuck his ground and greeted the fans. He was pleased he saw them, but pleased they were gone. Jeff, incidently is older than Jean Michel.

No, you did not offend me. It's just afterwards I really did feel sorry for Jean Michel. It's his fault that he is so wonderful and that the fans really him. Where I was standing at the stage door I could feel the tension as time passed by. Jean Michel came out after the show within 45 minutes. Just glad it was not longer. Hehe, my sister said he still had his stage make-up on.
