I don't mind to see one of those pictures as album cover for the man's new album

Just thought to share with you this post...

Thanks for sharing that post.
But I wonder where they got March 2007 info from

What forum?
I called Warner music when this rumoured title first appeared and they told me JM had not yet made up a title for his album. And now the same name appears again? Huh?

I don't see the title "Melancholic Rodeo" anywhere.
In fact I've heard people say it will be called "Saint Exupery" or similar, much like "En attendent Cousteau" which was inpired by another dreamer, Jacques.

En Attendant Exupery
We've been talking about successors a lot.. Oxygene 14-20, Equinoxe 8-16.. and also a new Chronologie has been discussed... but no new Cousteau. That would be a smart move...

Would this new album be a world wide release and not something on the lines of GOL where it has limited availability.

Yes, it is considered a proper album according to JMJ as opposed to GOL and Sessions which he said were more experiments and were not necessarily for the mass market. Not that Jarre is for the mass market anyway, but you know what I mean.
He is planning on releasing a single in December whereas GOL and Sessions had no singles.

Yeah he said it was his first album since Metamorphoses and his first album on the warner label. GOL was released on the warner label too (eastwest)... so apparently JM doesn't count it as a real album...
