"Thomas And Friends: Calling All Engines" - my excuse is that I have an 18 month old little boy, and he's mad about Thomas The Tank Engine.

Best character isn't Thomas or Percy or even Gordon, but "Diesel 10", an engine with a whopping great crunching claw on it's top, like the chomping mouth of a T-Rex! Excellent stuff! My son loves him too! Shame he's one character that isn't the subject of a book though :-(

You're never too old for these things, but some people grow too old to admit that they think it's fun :wink2:

Haha, I know. Very often kiddies programmes are more interesting and fun than normal TV - enjoyable escapism (which is probably why Doctor Who is now so popular).

In all honesty... I was "zapping" around the tv channels the other day, and stumbled upon something I thought was some kinda comedy show, with this guy rolling around on the floor, shooting with something that sounded like a toy gun, and then Tubbs and Crockett showed up. Hilarious! :P

I don't remember that. You gotta dig up some more to call it 'embarrasing", and not just some petty 'stumbled across - saw a fed seconds only" :punch: No movie or series has ever had such a great focus on music that is not classical music. I can't find any negative things about the series. We all see different gems in movies an series. Im a fan of the 80's and the Miami theme. No wonder that Scarface is my favourite movie. Regarding the sounds of the weapons, especially Crockett's gun sounds like all pistols from the 80's... very lame. Gunshots have never sounded authentic in movies. Not even in today's movies.
Just forget it, we all have our own favourites
