Why are some assuming it's aimed at collectors?

Maybe they just have thousands of them left on stock and they bundle it with a new extra CD for a bargain and aim it at those who liked it in the 70's and think, what the hack, that's a good offer for a 3CD box.... and thus get rid of that stock that doesn't seam to sell very well..

We know it as soon as the price is announced, but the artwork doesn't seem to be aimed at collectors so.... ;-)

Antigoon is right, that's what I thought as well.... but there's collectors and die hard collectors, so as soon as there's a new package around the release, I'll have to buy it... call me crazy then

I also have the Complete Oxygene boxset. Rather foolishly I sold off my Oxygene 7-13 (in 3d jewel case) to have enough money to get it. I'm not sure what's more desirable, the Complete Oxygene or the 3D 7-13. I certainly wish I had sold something else instead! I've not seen it since!

Well Rubberlips, I think you did what you had to do...

The Complete Oxygene is the more rare IMHO and it has the bonus song + packaging.

I also have the 3D Oxy 7-13 which is nice but it's just the sleeve cover and textured CD case. I have actually seen 3 of those for sale on eBay since January--Two from Australia for some strange reason.

Hey, Shouldn't "Lenteveld" also be on that page?

something completely different: where should I put this release on my page:

- a new section?
- in the "Complete Oxygene" section from 1998?
- in the box set section?

I'd put it in the Complete Oxygene section, as it's essentially a re-release of that issue including a bonus CD. Imho.

Actually I sorta agree with GeeJee in that it is another version of the Complete Oxygene but this is actually for the 30th Anniversary so maybe they belong in the original oxygene section or a NEW 30th Oxygene section where you can put the 3D version and the Dreyfus "cash-in" as I like to call it. Yes, I think I like the third choice the best--a NEW 30th Oxygene section. Mind you it will be very small.

I could even create a new section called "THE DREYFUS CASH IN SECTION" where all that stuff like "The Essential 2004", the 2cd and 3cd box sets from 2005 and other stuff goes in

I'd say you put it to the same 1997 Complete Oxygene section. Or just make that cash-in one :P
