IMO
Life on Earth is the most interesting.
Theme for Happiness is my favourite.
Final Paradox is excellent too and is slightly better than Theme for Loneliness.
Happy mood is pretty ok cool.
Eighties Synth Power is the weakest.


I think in some of the tracks, the dums could come to the front a bit more.
Like the fact that you have let the music speak instead of hiding it behind drums.

Possibly some of the sounds chosen are a bit thin, reqiuring more depth.
But then again its a mtter of synths used & how the sounds fit in a mix.
I'm sure a competent mastering engineer could beef it up for you, if required.

Overall with an album title as Paradox
one kind of looks for things that are a bit different, somewhat unusual
but then resolves themselves at some point.


Any how : keep up the excellent work.
It will certainyl be interesting to see how things develop musicially for you.

There are my first compositions, it is 100% virtual, done with the software Orion Platinum.

Yes, this seems to be a great album, but like the other says a little more work on the mentioned drumtracks, you will have an even cooler album.

Hey Noyau!
I have had a quick listening to your samples.
The first I notice is the great "air" or atmosphere you've got in the music. Allthough I have a pair of Phillips headphones, I had to look around in my room to see if the sound came from my TV! I think maybe it's a wide channel separation and sky-high treable that's doing this trick. It sounds ok b-u-t maybe a little floating. I can wish for a stronger foundament, some deeper bass or beats. For the composition I have to listen some more but I think it's good...it's goood!

Yes, the mix is a bit cold, I can't have the warm I have when playing on these VSTs
I dunnow how to make it as warm as it is when composing, I will try to do something with Goldwave

I gave you only 6 tracks of the 20 on the CD, but I will take the full album on MySpace

I came back to the questions you asked in the first post...

The image which comes to my mind when hearing "paradox"...the first one is something like that:




Others I find close to the idea:



























And if considering the words I associate with "paradox"...well, to be honest the first two are: "love" (because of the track with these two words "love" and "paradox" I had luck to heard some time ago...) and "skin" (because of the track from GOL).

The third word is just "life"...because life is full of so many paradoxes...what's sometimes can be great.

WOW... this I didn't expect!!

Some very smart sound programming and composition in there! Not really "obvious" if you get what I mean. On the other hand, like the others said, the drums lack some power, and I really miss the bass. It reminded me a lot of early electronic music, a bit like Les Granges Brûlées, but more accessible!

Wow, it is my first album but for sure I won't stop to write music !
I wanted this album to be very experimental, but in fact it is maybe too "complicated" for being experimental

The drum is not powerful at all, I know, but I didn't specially want it to be more powerful, I wanted the music to be more important than the drumtrack because the drumtrack is not very complicated in fact...

But thank you for all your reviews, you all make me happy
