Since I have no time to write a long post, I will only tell you that the values gaven are a simple calculation:
total freshwater used/number of people of the considered area.
It is not an average of what each person uses!
So, you have to consider manufacturers, restaurants, carwashers... etc...etc...
Everything you see, you touch or you use needs water. After you use it, obviously the water goes back to the environment, but not "drinkable".
