As Jarre is not a native English speaker, it makes quite a sense the anglo-saxon people take care of the lyrics themselves...Pat Gleeson wrote:(...) The vocal on 'As One' and 'What You Want' are properly annoying, which is a pity as JMJ was a proven songwriter long before 1976. I think he took too much of a back seat with the vocal tracks and let the collaborators with too much of a free reign IMO.(...)

No, it's not due to quality. Which isn't "low" by the way.Christophe wrote:Due to low quality samples?Jote wrote:"Swipe to the right" sounds quite bad in this preview.![]()
Bad quality or not
Yes, I think that too. "Aero" was nice but nothing more than a greatest hits compilation with reworked versions of his most famous tracks. Ok, it have 3 new tracks but these tracks lacks of originality. I'm so far happy with the "Electronica"-project.Jarreshair wrote:Anyway, I glad he did this project. In my opinion it's the best thing he's done since O7-13 and far more interesting than the Aero project.
We need to listen to the whole song. When I hear 30 seconds of the collaboration with PSB I don't like it too, but I like it when I hear the whole song.Jote wrote:No, it's not due to quality. I hope this is something we'll get in the Vol .2 deluxe set in July ...Goudeskitchen wrote:What would have been good to hear would be how the original track went before JMJ sent it over to the collaborators to add to them?
I think JMJ's command of English is superb, and he's proven to be very eloquent as well ...jeanbatman wrote: As Jarre is not a native English speaker, it makes quite a sense the anglo-saxon people take care of the lyrics themselves...
