This tour was put together at short notice, with (I presume) some of the visuals planned for the 2026 Tour. Claude and Adiescar may have had other commitments which is maybe why they aren't on stage this time. JMJ said himself the only reason he's touring this year at all is because Pompeii and Venice became available. The other venues were agreed on when the first two were confirmed. I'd call this tour a warm-up for the full tour in 2026 - much like the In-Doors Tour acted as a prelude to the main 2010-11 tour.

Lol, shortest edit of RV4 ever, 1:52. He really doesn't like this track :)

I see that RV4 was squeezed in at the expense of shorter MF2 (just one verse, chorus + solo), I believe Oslo got the full track.

I believe that was due to time constraint. The city of Helsinki has very strict rules for noise levels after 10pm and there might have been fines or sanctions if the limit was exceeded. The concert yesterday ended at 9:59pm :)

Makes sense since JMJ did say "See you next year" at the end of the concert.

Well, that's not quite correct. Jean-Michel indees said that being offered to perform in Brussels and Pompeii was the reason, but these concerts (especially Pompeii and also Venice) were announced pretty late, while the first one officially annouced was Stuttgart already in October last year. Brussels and the two Italian concerts were announced end of February/beginning of March.
I heard in March this year, that there were plans for a tour next year, but nothing was fixed by then. So, I don't think he did the visuals for next year's tour. As could be seen on his short videos from the rehearsals, he was working until the last minute on the visuals. But of course it's possible that he will use some of it for the 2026 tour, as he uses now some elements from the Electronica Tour and Bratislava as well.
But the comparison to the 2009 In>Doors tour seems not that bad, as even the font for the poster design is very similar... :)
