As previously reported, Jean Michel Jarre's NEW 'TÃ‰O & TÃ‰A' Album, will contain 13 Tracks. The Tracklisting (subject to change) will be as follows:-

Jean Michel Jarre's Management have also officially announced that they have created 2 Special MySpace Web-Sites for Jean Michel Jarre's NEW 'TÃ‰O & TÃ‰A' Album, which can be found on www.myspace.com/teotea or www.myspace.com/teateo, both containing the Full Promo Single Video.

Jean Michel Jarre's Management confirmed that the 'TÃ‰O & TÃ‰A' Promo Single, the first planned Single from the NEW Album, may now not be released as a Commercial CD Single in France, but may be digitally released on Apple's iTunes Store (www.apple.com/fr/itunes).

Warner Music UK, however, have confirmed that they are intending to release the 'TÃ‰O & TÃ‰A' Promo Single as a Commercial CD Single in the UK, which they intend to release on April 16th 2007, and digitally release it at the time of the Album's release on March 26th 2007.

Personaly I think that the name "in the mood for oxy" is, well, daft, tacky etc...

And MR sounds like some sort of desease.... other then that, it's instrumental so who cares...

This suggests that there's a non-remixed original in Jarre's computer somewhere... Let's hope it's released one day.

I can't help thinking Warners have got this wrong. Surely, it's better to release the single first; this way you attract more customers to the album. Release the album first and people won't feel inclined to buy the single as they've already got it (OK, so the single might be a remix but how many non-Jarre fans will bother with the difference?)

Yes it seems to be a weird step, but I have seen that before.

I have to admit, but Im slowly losing interest in this album 8((

I have listended to the album some 12 times and 6 of those I have started skipping some tracks because they sound a little on the dull side now. The only tracks I play that I now enjoy are 'Fresh News', 'Vintage' and 'Teo & Tea 4 AM'. Once the excitement of a new Jarre release has subsided and you sit down and actually listen to this album, though it's Jarre the album just sounds far to simple, basic and too preset and this coming from a muscian with 40 years experience (not me, Jarre). The album is good, don't get me wrong, but it should of and could have been one hell of a lot better. Has Jarre put to much of his faith into todays technology, I think he has. He has taken the easy road, now following the footsteps of those that followed 'him'. How did it come to this.

I will buy the album when it's released, it will get it's well deserved airing, but at times the album does leave me a little cold.

Well, this is what I'm afraid of...that's why I've stop listening to the promo.
I think it's "music on the run". I can't just sit down and analyse it as other Jarre albums...it's not that type of music. For me it became better while activating myself by doing something at the same time I was listening. I was "hooked" unusually fast by the songs...much faster than Jarre's earlier work. The "discovering part" is over after a few listenings. I just hope the completed release can bring something more up to day light.

That's the downfall of modern technology such as the internet, the possibility of getting tired of an album even before it's released. I don't listen that often to the promo any longer, wants to preserve it for the actual album release, but when I do I skip 'TÃ©o & TÃ©a', cos that's been listened to far too often. I haven't yet just laid back and really listened to the promo, only had in running on my headphones while browsing the net. I'm looking forward to just lay back and listen intensely to the CD album, I'm sure it's clarity will reveal some small details hidden on the promo.

If the 2 disc version of the album is limited to 5000 and the normal version being the more commercial, what was the point of that poll set up by Warners. They obviously had already made up there mind.

Hmmmm, would we have had all this arse-about-backwards stuff with Dreyfus. Shame Jarre and them parted company really. I personally don't think Warners are giving Jarre the good long standing and reliable credit he so deserves.
