For me the EMI is good label.
Mute label (Depeche Mode, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Recoil, Moby Gahan, Gore, Die Krupps, DJ quickSilver, Nick Cave, Yazoo etc) was bought by EMI.
EMI released new mixed SACD+DVD editions (vinyl too!!) of all Depeche Mode albums and CD+DVD editions of Moby, Gahan, Gore, Recoil etc.

I think that EMI believe in SACD or CD+DVD editions and the quality of the sound of the CDs is very well.

I hope that Jean will be happy with EMI and maybe EMI release SACD versions of all Jarre albums too

Super CD is basically this

From the surround-sound DVD, I produced the "super-stereo" CD mix taking care to keep the much wider than traditonal 180° stereo sound.

Except for the panning hyperactivity it is indeed a very spacey mix (talking about Aero).

Well that's what it is. Not necessarily meant in a negative way, but listen to Last Rendez-Vous and try to follow the saxophonist... or the hihats in Aerozone... they go updownbackforwardleftrightleft and vice versa

It's awful to listen to some of the songs on Aero with headphones. I hope he'll refrain from such mixes in the future and stick with "ganz normale stereo mixes".

I don't remember T&T having an annoying mix or something, even if that wasn't officially "super-stereo". Still I'm convinced the AERO mix is very spacey and beyond 180 degrees like JMJ writes in the booklet.

Yes, this is the likely answer. When I was present a couple of times in Jeff Waynes studio when he was remixing the 2005 version of his album 'The War Of The Worlds', the album was put into 2 differant mixes, SACD and super CD.

For T&T it was the other way around. The CD was good, but the 5.1 mix is an awful echofest.
