Hey guys would we rather have another Teo & Tea or an album we can all say yes its been worth the wait.

Regarding Gone. I said exactly the same to my cousin. Does he have another copy. I can't see them playing a version picked up of a torrent sites or has he actually composed this album again just so he can play it on his speaker system.

What do people think about that.

Maybe he is going to release a "New Master Recording" of Music for Supermakets for its 30th anniversary next year..
And playing a series of concerts at Carrefour supermarkets.

I really hope this won't be the "new" JARRE's sound...

There is a lot of truth in that and as a fan since 1978, I can relate to that. Jarre seems to be to pre-occupied in other things, promoting his speaker system which I find rather pointless. Jarre is a musicain, not a electronic gadget salesman. Oh well, thats his decision. But then I cannot stick his over priced Aerosystem in my CD player to enjoy.

"Yes, this is a new piece for me. In fact, it wouldn't have been possible without the help of my artistic collaborator who produced the entire song. I named it 'GONE' because musically, I feel as if I've completely lost my mind; It's gone. But I hope to have a new Zoolook album called 'ZOOLOOK 8-14' completed by the end of 2015, followed by a USA tour in 2017. See you soon!"

And this is what I have been trying to put across. Why does JMJ keep doing this. A new studio album was announced by him for a release in 2010, then 2011, then 2012, now recently it was 2013. The above statement says 2015. Then there are the many projects he stated he would be doing, concerts, DVDs, venues, shows, that never materialized. All of which the fans were told. And some wonder why we get a bit annoyed? Why announce these plans if they are not done & dusted. It is extrememly annoying.

I know that some will probably jump the gun and say I'm not satisfied or I'm complaining. Has nothing to do with that. I'm a MASSIVE Jarre fan and love his work. He's a nice guy. But he has a bad habit which he seems to be stuck in - and thats announcing projects BEFORE they have been started or even partially completed. That is not fair on fans because it's buidling peoples hopes up, then dashing them. But it is rare that Jarre explains as to why a project has been cancelled. Most times we don't know why because we get left on tender hooks.

I wish Jarre would stop telling fans what plans he has (its more to do with sponsorship than anything else) and just do them, finish them and release them - then tell us.

Anyway, I hope this so-called studio album of a follow up to Zoolook comes to light. But if Jarre is struggling with inspiration, get Rimbert and co MORE involved. Bring back some of the old gang even, if possible.

The sample of MFS played was very good. The best quality I have heard.

Mr Jarre has just not been concentrating on new music alone for the past several years. Don't forget he was touring, concentrating on AeroStystem One, AeroDream One etc, lost both his parents and went through a divorce. Why don't you put yourself in his place. He has feelings personally as well as professionally. He is working on new music and this takes time. He can't give you a date and time when you will hear it. Maybe, he thought you, the so called fan would hear it sooner, rather than later. If you can't wait for the new music, then change direction and get into another artist who will give into your demands. A true fan would get impatient but would also appreciate that he is doing something new, whatever it is. If he prefers to concentrate on other things then let him. He will do exactly what he wants to do, no words of complaining is going to stop that.

As for the forums not being active, as I have said before it is due to Facebook.

That's really good. I like it. I hope these will be available on the RBMA website once.
