After the formal business was attended to, international electronic superstar and CISAC President Jean Michel Jarre took to the stage and spoke with determination about the need for a stronger voice from creators when speaking to consumers, the media and the world’s law makers. His mantra for the need to retain value in music was neatly encapsulated when he said “a smart phone without the creative input is no longer smart!”, highlighting that the value smartphones , tablets and other new devices have comes from the content, not the gadget itself. Jarre spoke too about his plans to transform CISAC and the role of publishers in his professional life.
Towards the end of the conversation, Stephen Navin and Chris Butler presented Jean Michel with a score of Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. This new edition, produced to mark the centenary of the work, is an autograph of Stravinsky’s original manuscript. Jarre has previously attributed a live performance of “The Rite of Spring” to his “musical awakening”.

Jarre's creativity has nothing to do with the last-15-years of internet world, of leaking music before release, of decreasing cd sales.

We have heard this already for a couple of years now, haven't we?
Btw thank you for the swedish version.
I can try to translate that part back for you if you want...
Jean Michel says/ wrote:"I have two new discs / records about to be released and as a creator of culture I believe it is important to be active,
to stand in direct contact with issues that concerns us, to be successful when you are leading the work of an organisation such as CISAC.
This is to take responsibility for the task."

Do we really know if it is two albums or actually one double disc album?
As with the 'Essentials & Rarities' it is one album release containing two discs although on the front it says "2 albums".
