Well...according to what I've heard about it the message are quite simple;
people are just a bunch of scum wich are destroying the planet and deserves to be exterminated.
It's just that...I don't get why you have to make a whole movie about that?
The old version is a bit different though as it's more about stop using nuces in order not to destroy ourselfs.
However, I'm a bit curious how Keanu Reeves handle the character as an alien.

Pros...
-Good acting
-Very nice camera job imho. Always good compositions and camera angles.
Smooth movements and with chopper images over cities.
I'm not missing those fast movements with a hand held camera wich is usually the case with this kind of thrillers.
-Partly very exciting story with intrigues on a higher scale.
Cones...
-The cinema's image quality was terrible.
-Disappointing music
-Disappointing end. Just a very abrupt short cut like -"we're out of money for this movie...thanks and bye bye". One of the worst I've ever seen actually.
-I should've rented it at home insted. It's not a 'must have seen it at the cinema' type of movie although well worth a glance.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0421715/ I went to this movie totally unawares - some friends picked me up saying they've got a ticket for me and that we're going to the cinema and we're gonna see a movie. So it took me all by surprise which made it even better
I think I should do stuff like these more often - I'm way too used to look for info about the movies first and when I get to see them, I already have an idea about what I'm about to see. Maybe it's better to just go and see.

I have read today that plans are underway for a return of the cult classic 'Ghostbusters'. The new film 'Ghostbusters III' will include the original cast, but in the part of mentors to a younger generation of ghostbusters.
I had a sneaky feeling that something was going to happen as there are a lot of Ghostbuster related things going on at the moment. We have a handfull of tv adverts which feature the music and style of the film. There is also the blu-ray release soon along with a new game.

As I understand it, the new video game is supposedly a sequel to the films. You could call it #3, albeit in video game format.

Watched Fanboys yesterday with some friends... funny, but perhaps only if you are or used to be a Star Wars geek (like me)

Yesterday night I went to see the new Star Trek movie.
It was quite funny although a bit complicated for a non Star Trek fan.
The CGI's were ofcaurse simply amazing to watch (if you're willing to accept things are burning and exploding in emty space) when the cinema used its biggest format for their 11 meter screen. I still think the story could have been slightly better.
Many times during the 2 hours it felt like déjà vù. I'll give it 4 out of 5. Could be better, most likely I'll never watch it again but a very, very nice, visual movie for a cinema experience.

I watched it today, and liked it a lot!
