Even if i am a big fan of JMJ, i must ask why does JMJ need to play Oxygene 4 two times per concerts? It is the most popular track, sure, but it sounds a bit boring to hear it as an encore yet. (Though i was not that bored at concert when i heared live.)
Why there is no another Oxy track, for instance 8 or the 10th? ...

As mentioned hundred times, JMJ probably has his reasons not to play those tracks. A few sources including JMJ himself, indicate that he has thought about it. If you look at the tracklist, Oxygene 4 is the best suited track for an encore, besides the fact that it is the most known track from the album.

I gasp when I rethink of ourselves shouting out loud for an encore track, the saturday night in marigny one other day when the memory moog collapsed in middle of Oxy2, the 15 december.
At the end of the show, after Oxygène 12, Jarre told us : "On ne peut pas bisser Oxygène" which stands for "You cannot encore Oxygène".

We were quite dissapointed at that time...

Jean-Michel often played the actual single twice, like

RDV4 in Houston/Lyon
Revolutions in London
Calypso in Paris
Chrono 4 at EIC

It became a bit of a tradition maybe which he continues now, as Oxygene 4 has been released as a Promo CD-Single...

Yesterday evening, there was a TV program with JM, talking with him, with the possibility of calling him live by phone and he was greatly kind answering all the questions.
Maybe there is something more here: http://www.tvkultura.ru/

I don't recall Oxygene 4 being played twice in Copenhagen.

You can see some others found the concert relatively short. :P Maybe next year's tour-concerts will be longer.

I don't think it's short. The concerts are longer than the Théâtre Marigny concerts by one track. :p: :fine:
