To own any Mustang would be a dream for me - the latest models are rather nice, but the 67 Shelby would be amazing!!!

Amen to that. Having worked on a 68/69 Mustang (and 71 Mach One) myself when I worked in the motor trade (customizing and restoration), I love these cars. My favourite of the American Muscle cars. The Charger and Challenger come a close 2nd, with a 57 Chevy Bel-Air 3rd place, 34 Ford Model "Y" in 4th place and 32 Ford Model "B" in 5th.
Luckily they've built more then just one, very powerful Eleanors after that movie to some rich special selected customers. Very sexy car indeed, famous from the movie Bullitt and Steve McQueen's classical car chase scene. :smoke:

A cousin of mine ones owned the (one of the) Pontiac Trans Am's used for the "Smokey and the Bandit" movies with Burt R. It was a trade for a new Volvo truck, but then he got rid of it. If it was because it was simply to expensive to own or if he got a fair price selling it is now history.

It's the 'Brit Awards' tonight. Some 2 hours of the worst crap slapped on plastic in the past year.

Atleast one local lad (Midlands, where I am) is up for a major award, Robbie Williams.

Depeche Mode ought to get an award for their contribution to the British music scene.

So should Jean Michel Jarre for his contribution as an international electronic musician.

As I thought, Brit Awards, more like Sh*t Awards.

Why do they still continue to broadcast this drivel. Yet again another year of total cock-ups. The formula never changes. Higlights of the show was comdeiane Peter Kay who was given the job of hosting. As he finely put it "20 minutes of show spread over 2 hours".

But it was Kays brilliant comments that made the show memorable. Liam (Oasis) Gallagher picked up the award for Oasis winning best album of the past 30 years - what?. Thanked everyone except his brother, then threw the award into the crowd. As he walked off stage, Peter Kay blarts out "what a nobhead" . Kays introduction on stage of Lady Gaga was brilliant "and now, she's America's answer to Sue Pollard", followed by "come'on cock'a don't forget ya brew" as Gaga left the table (brew being slang for a drink, cock'a being slang for person). And in true tradition, the most Brit Awards went too . . . . . Lady Gaga (an American). Worst award went to the Spice Girls for the most memorable music moments of the past 30 years - WTF!. It's the Spice Gilrs, the worst all-girl group EVER! . . . . . Fact. They made the Nolans look professional.

Liam said he want to do Class A drugs after receiving the award. :smoke: The award was for the album What's the Story Morning Glory, it's actually very good. :P

Yep, it would have been better for Noel to receive the award. Really, not very organized. :?
