This whole concert planned around Astronomy is amazing news!
Reminds me of my days when I was a Physics student in Undergrad with dreams of becoming an Astronomer like Carl Sagan... 'til I came to my senses and transferred to film school instead

lmfao can I just point out that nothing's been confirmed? This has happened many many many times where Jarre has gone somewhere, then either the fans have jumped to conclusions or JMJ has hinted at something, and eventually the plans are scrapped.

Yes, you can point it out. As fans, we should be used to it by now.

But it still does not stop me from getting excited.

I dunno.

All I know is that this girl is 14 years old.

She is giving a speech to the UN Environmental Leaders.

The girl speaks words of truth...but what will or can UN Environment leaders do?
Near to nothing!

Amen to the girl.
Good on her for stepping up to the mark, and telling it as it is. But that speech, for it is worth is nothing more than a speech, falling upon deaf ears.
I am glad that I as a person is leaving this world, and not entering it.

Hmm..... I don't believe these are totally her/her + her friends' words but it's most of it is true. I'm not to what extent spending war money on charity instead would "fix the world" but waging a war is definitely a piss poor cause when there are so many things that need to be "fixed" instead.

To tell the truth!
The girl's talk is nothing new!
Lots of children have sent letters and cry for help to politicians worldwide throught many many years!
Do they listen?
Do they listen to any cry for help at all?
No...cause who get help?
They follow what are itching in their ears, cause what can bring them up on the top in their political life!!
That is the truth and the whole truth!
If they helped any time they want to be honored!
They don't get any honor from me!
Thanks for sharing anyway Jean Michel Jarre..i do understand your thought...
Foreshadowing The future??

The context of JMJ's RECENT blog post is a bit confusing. A 14 year old girl talking about environment change way back in 1992/1982. My theory is that this is telling us some tiny details about inspirations for a future album. My first thought was a contrasting album to revolutions. however seeing this video and all of the recent oxygene commotion makes me believe that a new album will be another continuation of oxygene. Oxygene 14-19 ??? Does anybody else think so or am i just going crazy??
