Send the army in. . . . Let them back the police in London and Birmingham and kick these idiots into touch who are doing the rioting and looting.

Looters should be shot on sight. Sending the army in won't help if they're not allowed to fight back. At the moment the Police seem to be fighting with one hand tied behind their backs. As usual the rights of the rioters will be put first.

Birmingham was badly hit last night. It was a horrible feeling walking around the city today. My home town of Wolverhampton was put on alert, but got attacked by rioters tonight. Walsall just up the road from me was also hit. And West Bromwich too. Mindless vandalism by thugs who have nothing else better to do than pass the time.

Flash back to Los Angeles, 1992. No way this is about "social justice".

Stay safe, Jon.

What peeves me off, that coloured people are getting the blame. So many flipping racialist comments. I am not taking sides but there are whites involved in the UK riots as well. No offense.

None taken on my part. It annoys me that people are saying it will set race relations back x number of decades in this country. No it won't only those who are unwilling to tolerate those who look different or have a different culture to their own. And they will never change.
Mostly white kids in Manchester. Especially the little thug who thought he was hard boasting to the camera that he was doing it "'cos the police can't touch us tonight, can they?" I hope he got his comeuppance.

Well, it was a bit quiet last night. Hope the same for tonight. Hope they get their punishment. Really makes the UK a bad country. :(

Possibly because it was raining. At least it was in Manchester. Lets face it the little darlings wouldn't want to get their hair/designer clothes wet would they. Or as someone put it: "Not time for their bi-annual bath"

Good to see the tide is turning on these bastards. Police have started knocking, and in most cases, taking doors off hinges. Hundreds of rioters have been caught and now being as the police call it "mass processed" (in court and sentanced). Even a kid of 12 handed a hefty sentance. Good to also see family members turning their so called loved-ones in after finding out what they did.

Oh yeah, payback time is good. Now they need to get these scum to pay for the damage they caused. Its a start but it will never heal the wounds caused by some, specially the one's who lost their lives in this act of pure greed.

Blame is ripe. The cost of living is being accussed, so is the amount of emigrants in this country (I agree with that). I was only saying to a close friend the other day that "I" feel like the emigrant in my own birth country.
