I do like Oxygene 5 / Variation 3 mixture in the show ; though that Liberation could be better. More melody.
I do like the bass line in these...

All together it is fine, but as I have said, his solo should really be more melodical.

...yeah, but they might still deaf. Almost everyone say on French forum that concerts are too loud. Which is not as enjoyable as it should be. Just some decibels...turning the volume down a bit.
Too loud sound is not healthy anyway...


When will Jarre learn to play Moog Liberation?

Yesterday's Paris concert was great. He really enjoyed himself. The audience was good; before the first encore the whole Bercy roared like I've never heard before! I disagree about Variation 3 - one of the best songs Jarre made the past decade, imho.

I still love Calypso 3 as an end song. JMJ plays the keytar so well, I think it's one of my favorite moments of the concert. The Laser Harp was doing well.

I have a feeling the 2nd part of the concert has more punch than the first part. Visually and musically. It's like when Industrial Revolutions 2 is played, the concert really kicks in and they open all registers.

After the concert I met Kanta and some old faces from the past, which was nice. While we were waiting, I thought I saw someone who looked a bit like Patrick Rondat, so I said to my friend: Look, that guy looks like Patrick Rondat!

Turned out it was Patrick Rondat.

We shortly shook hands.

Friends of mine spotted Charlotte Rampling, Michel Granger, Emilie Jarre and I myself saw David Jarre. I said: look, that guy looks like David Jarre.

Glad you had great time in Bercy!

Watching the videos made there, there must have been great mood! And it seems Bercy got full house.

The question is : Isn't there enough melody in Jarre's shows ? It's 95% of the time...

I think there are enough melody.
Though, previoulsy written, I wouldn't mind a more melodic Oxygene 5 performance.

New track could be longer.

yeah apparently he was seen Threatening People who were Filming the concert and trying to confiscate their Camera's

thankfully security threw him out before he got to the on stage Electricity supply to pull the plug on Jarre
