This year, the best candidates were railroaded out of the race early. That, combined with the media being unabashed shills for the Obama adminstration, and half the country leeching off the other half, it was all but pre-ordained. Obama is "Santa Claus" to these people. I predict that this will either stimulate a grass-roots conservative backlash in '14 and '16 -please, God, yes- or else it will propel this once-great nation into the abyss. Time will tell if common sense prevails.
