The "face" thing is simple. 3D is a layering of two images over one another, one being slightly off centre. If you look at the face, you see two faces, off centre but as one.

Seriously, it would be great if Jarre did what Duran Duran did with that box set reissuing all their 7" & 12" singles as mini-lp CDs with the original artwork. He could make them Limited Edition and sell them from the website or something...
