You see, here the thing that confuses me: here's a man who can clearly play - listen to the Part 5 solo on the Moog, and the beginning of Part 1 - so why the miming all these years?
It's no wonder he has trouble playing Part 2 - not being a musician myself that seems very difficult to do.

That was one of the best clips so far - is it the instrument intro on the DVD, or the one recorded for the cinema releases?

Even the music JMJ played as a demonstration on the instruments sounded promising. Just a truly awesome presentation of his instruments.

but he didn't demonstrate the minipops

I'm wondering that would JMJ give a chance to test those personally, if he can be met..

There seems to be an instrument far out to the right on the picture earlier in this thread (where F.Rimbert were playing) that hasn't been demonstrated.

That's the Korg PS3200. I think it is one of Francis' personal synths and maybe the reason why JMJ didn't touch it.

Wouldn't be good to see on DVD at first ??
I wouldn't allow to put everything on video-sharing sites BEFORE release of an album or movie or something.
