Another short video teaser I have uploaded on YouTube mentioning the new album at the Amsterdam Dance Event 2014. (New album "maybe" only released as a download.)

Yes ! :? He told in some interviews he will present one Album only as Downloads. I hope not only in the poor Mp3 !
I will have a real CD with booklet , information and not only a poor data which I must burn on my onwn CD ! But it´s his decision. This download trend makes music even cheaper, but it may be counterproductive to his involvement in the CISAC ???

Besides, it's 7.50 each if you buy two of those albums, just checked in the record store...

But digital distribution is great, you can have everything immediately. Let's get, for example, the Bourges live album, which was released in 2006 on iTunes.

oh...

Well, what about the Vintage single?

oh...

Hm, well, at least I can get the T&T CD single released the same year.

:) This is a misunderstanding. (You know, English is not my mother tongue  ).

I thought this cut down on data by downloads , the music is deprived of appreciation .

Ah! Cheap in that sense! I understand. The Bourges mp3s were encoded on a low bitrate, it's just a shame. I agree with you.

I heard a rumor, that Rimbert will not return to le Tribe.
This year he was posting "indirect" information to Jarre.
Nobody said anything, but Rimbert had sold the house and moved in Croissy somewhere else.
I know he set up new project with other artists, including Rondat, "Mephisto".

Interview at the german website "Welt online", December 2009 :

goggle-translator:
... He (Jarre) wears dark sunglasses and asks for forgiveness: Up to five o clock in the morning he had filed yet in the studio on a new album project with which he intends to build on its greatest success to date, the synthesizer classic "Oxygène".

Actually 2009, we were discussing it.

I have recently read back the initial post, yeah it makes me smile. In a way...

You know the reason why these threads (including e.g. Fairlight Jarre forum) count this amount of pages? 'Cause JMJ has been kept saying "my next album will be released next year".

Bahhh. Quite enough by now.

Anyhow, I'm optimistic about 2015. (Or not???? )

He has been working on the album for the past "three years" from his own lips and mouth, he told @ Amsterdam Dance Event 2014...!
