Real nice version !
Captures a lot of the atmosphere of the original.

(perhaps a bit of laser fx overkill 2min08-3min08
the fx on 50sec is harsh on the ears
& volume of laser fx quite high compared to the music itself).

Else real Fine, reagrdless of a few playing errors.

Really nice! You could use more delay on some fx's :) BUT I really like it!! btw the plucks... you have used too much vibratto ;) because sometimes it sounds a bit detuned :)

I need to make cover of the original version :P Here's my older attempt, similar to version that was played in Gdansk

Oxygene 2 [6 mb]
- Roland JD800
- Roland D50
- Roland JP8000
- Korg Minipops 7

I kind of regard this as a first effort at covers,I started doing some covers of Jarre stuff years ago this is one of the first ones i did,Hence why it sounds a little amateurish compared to later attmepts at covers, and also the equipment i had to record on back then wasnt the best and i was still fairly new to mixing techniques, the errors were basically just live playing blunders,I'm not note perfect all the time.Again with the laser efx, they were played by hand onto the 8 track,so possibly why they sounded a bit overkill..

I'm not much for Sequencing every element only the more demanding sequences which are difficult to play live with other parts too,I mostly sequence drums etc and play as much by hand as i can.

@Radek
The plucks are detuned,at the time my E310 was out of Tune so hence why its detuned..I dont normally use the E310 for the plucks as i replicated on the Nord lead i had at the time, but i just tested the E310 out on this particular mix

Thanx for the comments guys :D I was hoping for worse comments actually given the poor Quality of recording.but given its a first attempt done many years ago,The Jarre covers are nothing more than a bit of fun as i tend to done them when I'm on a break between my Own projects as it gives me a new perspective on my own music and helps to refresh the Inspiration

Not the best cover of "Oxygene 2", but still a nice version! :D

And the volume is not so loud (I'm turn my volume of my speakers completely open, but the song is very quiet!)...

Greetzzz...

Indeed, very soft! I've heard better covers.
