en attendant Cousteau vs. En attendant Cousteau

A QUESTION???
I have 2 copies of En attendant Cousteau.
en attendant Cousteau DDD recording level & En attendant Cousteau ADD recording level. Both with the same catalog number and both from France.
Which is correct and which one was printed first?

dunno which one was first, but what I know besides the differences between "ADD" and "DDD" recordings is that there is a slight difference on the front cover as well...
btw: they're both "correct" releases...

I think it should be ADD, as JMJ was using tape machines upto Oxygene 7-13 to record his albums. But I'm not 100% sure.

yes, I guess so too, as the "ADD" reappeared in all other releases worldwide, so methinks that the "DDD" was 'only' a French thing to have an enhanced (?) version for the local market

I don't think so: new recording is new mixing is new mastering, so the result always will be a bit different. In that case there are two different sounding WfC's.

GeeJee I think you are correct! It should be ADD. The DDD I think is a misprint. Does this mean that the correct title is "En" attendant Cousteau instead of "en" I think I've seen it capatilized later on for other releases

Can't say - I don't have any polydors with "En"....
