can't really tell if it's really genuine.... what makes me suspicious is the fact that there is "promo edition" stamped on the disc.... never seen that before, really.
did you turn the disc around? does it look like a pressed or a burned disc? On a burned disc you can see how far towards the outer rim it is "filled"....
still looks genuine to me... might as well be an inhouse promo
I also bought that one, but couldn't decide on really paying for it.... it's the same seller and he also offered me a refund if I wasn't happy with the item......
So we really need a confirmation from Warner...........
It is not a pressed CD but rather a CD-R from the look of it on the back (Do they use these for promo Cds now??). The cover of the CD is printed but it looks like an ink jet printer on one of those clean white discs.
The file is an AIFF file but maybe converted from mp3? Usually you get sound pops when that is done but it sounds like very good quality.
Actually the strange thing is I can't tell a burn ring on the disc like a regular CD-R. It looks like the Cd-backing but has that clean look like a real CD if that makes sense?
Went on the Warner site but could not find who the hell I would contact. (+ I just finished shooting a commercial for 15 hours yesterday and my brain is fried!)
Here is the link to the image so anybody feel free to send the actual image to Warners in Europe. I think here in California they won't know or care...
