Hmmm... seems like a nice place for a private concert
But there are more places like this one scattered all over Europe even in France
and we all know stone henge...... It could be anything from a worship/offering circle to remnants of an ancient settlement... or someone thought the stones he found where quite nice in a circle.. or a 'hunnebed' (kind of toomb)... If the stones are not that big (and it seems to be the case here) then it could be simply art... if they disappear for a few metres under the surface then it is intresting...
Try to locate pottery or chips of flint next time your there...
If you start digging... be aware of the bones

I've been too several scary places before. Like old houses etc. Very spooky, especially when it's late and you hear weird noises and stuff...

Ok, pretty freaky, but it may have been done by the people who own the forest, maybe for day trips or something. I know they do that over here!

I must be more than 10 years ago... I went into an old house close to my grandfathers house. The house had been left for several years. There was an old TV like these wooden models
I don't remember I have been places like the stonehenges, but this is the most weird place:
