I think it's OK. Very experimental, nearly avant-gardistic album. It sounds VERY dated now though. Still OK.
I hope it will be remastered and released on CD soon, that would have been great.
Your opinion?

So the percussion track in Chronologie 2 from Erosmachine isn't really Jarre then, neither is Rendez-Vous 2 and 3, and neither is Oxygene 4...?AnDrOiD wrote:For me Jarre is Oxygene and onward. Nothing existed before then!
Good point!GeeJee wrote:So the percussion track in Chronologie 2 from Erosmachine isn't really Jarre then, neither is Rendez-Vous 2 and 3, and neither is Oxygene 4...?AnDrOiD wrote:For me Jarre is Oxygene and onward. Nothing existed before then!

I don't care when they first appeared. They feature on the mentioned albums which are Oxygene and onwards. So what's the problem?GeeJee wrote:So the percussion track in Chronologie 2 from Erosmachine isn't really Jarre then, neither is Rendez-Vous 2 and 3, and neither is Oxygene 4...?AnDrOiD wrote:For me Jarre is Oxygene and onward. Owned back * 1.000000!!!
You know what... I've known Jarre since 1979, and it wasn't before like 2001 (22 years), when I got my first PC and internet connection, that I found out Jarre had made stuff before Oxygene. Therefore it's a bit hard for me to recognize that fact. The same goes for Kraftwerk, only with them I discovered their pre-Autobahn stuff in an import shop some 8 years ago. Can't come to terms with that either. They are Autobahn and onwards. Let me live in my own little secure bubble!GeeJee wrote:But they existed before, so if you deny/dislike thems, it's a bit odd
