I remember a topic about this from the old forum which was quite active, so I wanted to bring it up again.

In my case I remember I hated Metamorphoses and GoL the first times I discovered the albums. Now I like most of the stuff
Anyway also Oxygene 6 didn't draw my attention in the beginning. It was just another Emenint 310 filler. Now it is one of my favourite tracks of JMJ's vintage era.

When the Revolutions album came out, I really couldn't get into 'Computor Weekend', now matter how many times I listened to it. But now, I'm older and wiser and find it a fun track and I enjoy listening to it again.

Ethnicolor - When I was a child and watched PLD about once a day, this track was always the weirdest and I always felt like skipping it... in fact, I made my own JMJ mixtape and only included the last part of this track in it... ... But the hiatus ended in 2003, I actually noticed how gorgeous this track truly is. In fact, I would still call it my favorite track of them all, and probably JMJ's artistic peak.

Tokyo Kid and Computer Weekend - They always felt boring to me, now Tokyo Kid sounds pretty genious and Computer Weekend... well, the original is too long but the Images version is pretty cool.

The first time I listened to Sessions 2000, I skipped most of it, but some years after (some months ago actually), I listened to it again, and now I love it, I can't stop listening to it

I didn't like Calypso, now I love it.

But actually, I love most of his albums now...

Of all the Jarre tracks/mixes, the PLD version of Ethnicolor is the best and one of the most creepiest Jarre tracks I have ever heard. I love the original album version, but the PLD version just sends a shiver up my spine every time I hear it.

Agreed. That and the visuals creeped me out as a kid

Yet, once again, I must say that the PLD version could have been even greater if it had been the full track instead of Ethnitransition in the middle... yet that part was also cool, maybe he should have made a supermix with the original parts and the transition

Calypso 2 - first year after buying I skipped it in CD player. Now it is my favoirite WFC track.

Some tracks from Session and Geometry - first time I said " What is it? Similar like Angelo Badalamenti tracks!" Now I see that it is absolutely different music and (for me) perfect music.

Interior - I hated it in the past. Really. and now I have found some interesting compositions of sounds there (some totally unique). It is not a music album for me, it is an album of perfect sound effects.

Waiting for Cousteau and Sessions 2000 albums - I avoided when I first bought them but now I listen to them frequently.

I never skip a track only the above albums sometimes!

I never liked the track Waiting for Cousteau. But when I listened to it fully in my Art Exam I developed a liking for it.

I do feel the same way. I wasn't much into the quarter hour-or-so freak when I purchased the album, but I've enjoyed it much since. In fact, I was worrying about Jarre's taking on Klaus Schulze in a length race. In fact, it's a wonder if it's not a bit closer to Vangelis L'apocalypse des Animaux...
Still don't like most of KS epics, but definitively charmed by this track.

I had to get used to Metamorphoses and S2K a lot. I didn't like them at all when I first heard them, but they've grown on me ever since...

Indeed. The first time I heard it I thought it was just a load of crap. But somehow I tried listining to it over and over again. It didn't work. When I listend to the MFS version I kinda liked it more. Then when I listned to the Zoolook version again I loved the song.
