Great news about Remy's project to be held in the Great Church (St. Bavo), located at the Great Market in the Centre of Haarlem!
It's now officially confirmed that the Haarlems Symfonisch Blaasorkest (the Symphonic Wind Ensemble of Haarlem), consisting of 35 members, will co-operate with this unique project, to be performed during the annual bookmarket (free entrance!) at this great location, on November 10th.
There will be played two sets of 45 minutes each.
One part will be a completely newly composed piece (for synthesizers and ensemble) composed by Remy and arranged for ensemble by Fulbert Nijpels.
The other part contains some of Remy's previously released music, also in co-operation with the Haarlems Symfonisch Blaasorkest.
We will keep you posted!

I don't think PPL in here know your music, Remy. So I'll introduce you. Remy's music is often compared to Klaus Schulze's. Although not a copy of his, he's said to compose in a very similar style. (I can't confirm, since I'm not familiar with Schulze). Remy has released 6 albums on AKH Records (official distributor of Francis Rimbert in the Benelux). Check out his site (including samples off his albums) - for more info!

Would be neat to see you performing Remy, but there's no way I can get home after 23:45 by train :P

Latest news about Remy's performance in the Grote of Sint Bavo-church in Haarlem (situated in the centre, at the Great Market), during the annual book market, Saturday November 10th:

The part of the performance which should have taken place with the Haarlems Symfonisch Blaasorkest will not be performed as planned, due to circumstances. This set will be performed by Remy, but then solo.
Because all music is finished, and there has been put a lot of time and work in it, this piece will be performed another time with orchestra... so to be continued...

The brass orchestra will also do some concerts with their own repertoire during this day.

The time schedule:

Saturday November 10th, 9.00 - 17.00 (free entrance)

Performances:

Remy
set 1: 11.45 - 12.30
set 2: 13.00 - 13.45

Haarlems Symfonisch Blaasorkest
set 1: 14.00 - 14.30
set 2: 14.45 - 15.15
set 3: 15.30 - 16.00
