Hi, i have been readen the making of Water for Life book, and i have found a few of very interesting words about the future 2008 shows.
Maybe you know, but i think that this is very interesting:

Question to Alain Bilowus show producer of the Merzouga concert and with JMJ since Beijing, with CPM, Créations Productions Management, based in Paris:

Q. Finally, can you divulge any interesting projects that you may be producing in the future for Jean Michel Jarre?

A. For the release of the new album on March 22nd 2007, we are organising showcase in partnertship with Warner Music. Then next year, we are preparing events in France for May 2008 and in Norway for September 2008. There are other projects at the research stage in places like South America, Turkey and Dubai.

Question to Rodolphe Lejeune, Production Director:

Q. Do you think you will produce another "city-scale" concert with Jean Michel Jarre, like Houston or Paris La defense?

A. Yes, definitely. Jean Michel Jarre has many demands. It is just matter of time. To light a city is a major project. I would think in the next five years, he will do at least another two; there are too many possibilities in the pipeline for one not to happen. We have already been to Istanbul twice to investigate something like this.

Well, news for the illusion in a near future... Save your money!

They both said about Turkey. On the other hand, the rumours about Lyon in 2008 seem strongly based. And Jarre said months ago about a possible concert in Chile or Brazil... Too strong rumour. (Ha has never been in South America).

One could say too that Warner is one of the worst things that have happened to Jarre.

Beyond, the rumours about Israel... well, it could be one of the most interesting Jarre concerts ever. A concert for emotion and brave people. Is very dificult for me to imagine this project being true finally. It would be a night for to be brothers, both palestine and israel people together at the level of the usual urban life... It would be a concert of the two civilizations together, more than a celebration of the 60 anniversary of Israel. In the stage should be the young orchestra of the Israel and Palestine musicians.

I love Israel , see you, but in the present days, this celebration can´t forget the palestine people.

And my own desires... What about a Madrid concert? in 2008, is the 200th anniversary of the independence war of Spain against the France of Napoleon... :peacemaan: Would be very curious, a french making a concert for this celebration in Madrid (Goya, the 2 of may...) Jarre would be very brave. Well, is a joke... really, he would be much more brave in the Israel Concert. But the bravest people would be the fans arriving to Israel. I must say that i see it a bit dangerous... and excitant.

However, the people of Israel and Palestine live everyday with this danger... Really, the danger are only a very small few of dark people in both sides, making death.

If we were living in Jerusalem the danger would be part of our lifes, by the cause of these very small group of ill and dark people making the death. They are no representative of the true life in that place. Almost all the people, in both sides, only want to life their days in peace.

But, remember, Nico: Houston, La Defense, EIC, Merzouga... all were PROJECTS.

Yes, Blahblah cafe, maybe the most important no official comunity of Jarre fans in the Net.
Above all when the official seems to be sleeping all the time. Is one of the borest forums i have ever seen.
Since my point of view, this should be the Official forum.

And, in a forum of lovers of Jarre´s music and concerts, is rare to blahblah about the forthcoming year new dazzling shows? :wtf2:

The source of this post are the planifications of the current JMJ show producers... remember.

Say it to Robbie, my friends:

Well, I certainly hope he will give many more concerts in the future, cause I want to see it one time with my own eyes.

Yes, I did, but I meant, projects don't mean that will be done for sure, I only talk about it in retrospect, this is not a sure fact, even if JMJ has told it himself.
Of course, concerts have first been projects and rumors, but only time will tell ! :D
