that's a German promo album CD of that 1997 release. What we can see on your picture is the back side of the insert and the CD itself. The Insert is of the same kind like the inserts in standard CD singles

Okay the Oxygene 7-13 German Promo CD arrived today and what's really cool is that the CD tracks are laid out as:
  • 1. Oxygene 7 Part 1
    Oxygene 7 Part 2
    Oxygene 7 Part 3
    2. Oxygene 8
    3. Oxygene 9 Part 1
    Oxygene 9 Part 2
    Oxygene 9 Part 3
    4. Oxygene 10
    5. Oxygene 11
    6. Oxygene 12
    7. Oxygene 13

I vunder why they listed the tracks that way???? wery cool! (trying to speak german here...)

They are listed like that in the original partition - and splitting up the tracks like that seems logical, musicalwise.

Sounds intriguing, personally I'd want the sound quality on such release to top-notch, the track divisions would be just a really neat extra, still...

moviemaker, may I ask where you obtained this promo, and what the asking price is? :D

Sorry...I don't understand "original Partition"--you mean on a press kit or something???

Yes, it does seem logical with the way the music flows--if he would have stuck with it the album would look more like RENDEZ-VOUS but maybe Jarre wanted tit to seem more like the ORIGINAL OXYGENE so he eliminated that listing from the final release...?

I was only saying that cause you said it meant "paper scores" (whatever that is) in french in the first place... and now it means something else? :pwned:
