All the Dutchmen here already know what I'm talking about. A 14yearold stabd his clasmate with a knife after an argument about a pen. The boy was then after the stabbin incident chased by his other classmates, beat up and taken back to the corpse. The Dutch citizens are shocked by this event. It all happend at a technical school in Amsterdam. 2 days later a man with a knife attack two officers, stabbing them both. After he stabbed the second one he got shot by the first one and died later after that. In response to this even, hooligans attacked the police station with bricks and set a car on fire. What's your response to this.

Yes.... it seems to become quite normal to kill somebody if you don't like his face here in NL

. Give me 2 years, and I'm gone here!

Pff, what's the world we are living in... but on the other hand, it has always been like that, the only difference is that now, we know when it happens because of the media...
But that kind of things shouldn't happen, but now it's "launched", how can it be stopped...

Yup Nico, agreed 100%
Nothing new and AFAIK no-one here in NL is actually shocked.. We allready had students shooting a teacher etc and luckely so far no collumbine type of situation.
Also I would like to inform you that the boy who got stabbed was best friends with the stabber and the fight was not about a pen but about a girl, wich makes this the equivelent of a barfight...
Have we seen cars in flames like in france after the police shot someone? no
did we ever see a mass shootout in NL on a school? no
has terrorism ever happened at a dutch school, YES.. in the 70's
Conclusion, nothings really going on what hasn't happened before in some form and no-one seams to be shocked. For example, security at the school I work on is still "as usual"
I'm getting fed up with PPL who think NL used to be a perfect society and no longer feel that they belong here because it has changed... trust me, it hasn't changed a lot at all...
Pessimism doesn't solve anything, au contrère....

We have seen
cars in flames in France after some kids fried themselves when running away from the police, though.

Violence does not pay and it is atrocious if a person (man, woman or teenager) thinks that this is the way of life in dealing with matters of disagreement. Law should be made more stricter and punishment should be given out according to the crime committed. Now a days, in some countries the law is too lenient. In some cases, if a teenager is found guilty of murder he/she gets sent abroad like a holiday camp and for good behavior their sentence is reduced. Then, they are given a new identity and a new place to live.

I agree with Nico and Antigoon. I'll just stay passive because I don't have anything to say about it.

Well...just weeks ago two students has been killed at different locations here in Sweden.
Both cases seems to have been about some sort of harassments.
One shot with a shotgun and an other kicked in the head.
It's a mad world.
