It feels like RYXP and JMJ has chosen a bit different path the latest years. RYXP is going more pop-ambiente electro-acoustic with vocalists while JMJ is going more house experimental electronic style. Maybe just me. This is a very mid 90s sounding album from Royksopp. It's a retro mid 90s from Royksopp same as Synthwave is retro early to mid 80s.
There's so many styles of Electronica nowadays, that it's not possible to say this is modern that is not modern.
