Hi, got my tickets this morning. Anyone else going?
Also will this concert be in 5.1? Never experienced that before at a concert. The guy in the ticket office said that the concert is on from 8pm, no support and should finish between 10 and 1030pm. He also told me that JMJ and his team will be in the venue to set up 2 days before the gig and that they will be installing some mirrors on the ceiling. Weird!
Iwonder if the show will be changed any from the concerts before xmas? Can we expect the fabled laser harp? And being that the show is on for 2 hours, what will he play for the other 30 mins after he finishes Oxygene?

no 5.1 as far as I am aware... at least, at the Marigny concerts it wasn't.... As for the mirrors, go and have a look at the several "Marigny" threads to look at the photos some of us have taken there... Gives you an impression on how that mirror thingie looks like

Ah yes, I see that now, but I could only see one mirror above the stage. I wonder if there will be more? I hope he has some lasers in the show as well. I have spent that last 11 years saying how amazing the last Oxygene tour was he has a lot to live up to!!!!
Having said that I did say at the time it would be nice to see him in a theatrical setting, no lights and lasers, just 1 man and his synths. 11 years later here we are. Great minds think alike as they say

Yes, you can expect a full report of what to expect. Just as a matter of interest, he is already in Glasgow. He arrived yesterday. I spotted the trucks unloading equipment in on my way to work yesterday. I glimpsed a EIC stencilled flightcase.
Apparently he needed 2 days to perfect the set up. Similar idea as Oxygene in Toulon 11 years ago.

Regards,

Joseph-John.

If he wore a kilt.. when he turns around on that chair at the beginning... it would be interesting at the point where he crosses/uncrosses his legs...............

Sharon Stone anybody??

At least you'd be getting your moneysworth...................
