It was good for a while, but I don't really want those versions to be reused... as a compilation, I prefer Images and some Aero renditions sound somewhat metallic compared to the other versions.

It was also good to see Last Rendez-Vous make a return, the version on Aero is quite good too 8)

7.5/10

A great album, I prefer the original tracks but I also like the AERO tracks as new tracks that I don't want to compare with the original tracks.
Not really more to say, I just hope not all JMJ's tracks will be remixed to tracks in the AERO style.

A great compilation album with good re-editions of some old Jarretracks. Much better than Images (for me a cheap compilation)... 8)

Some great new versions, but some tracks lack warmth in my opinion. Probably the first and only time I'll say this, but RV4 on this album stinks. Sounds way too plastic'n'poppy to me, doesn't do the original powerfull synth anthem justice at all! Oxygene 2 intro kicks ass! Oxygene 4 rules, and so does the new version of MF1. Equinoxe 4 sounds a bit weak to me too. But I like the overall idea, and the new tracks are quite fancy too. Yay. 8) 8.5/10

Well, it's nice and some of the versions are great, but some are better in the old versions...

An amazing album, Oxygene 2 is beautiful, like the others, I dunnow how I would live without
For sure, it can't be better than original, for me, it's completly different, I listen Oxygène 2 from 1976 and Oxygène 2 from 2004 in a completly different way as it was not the same track
I love the 5.1 mix, veryvery great
9.9/10 because of Aerologie, Aerozone and Equinoxe 8 I don't like a lot :/

Sorry to say Aero is JMJ "experimenting" with soft synths, VAs
as "ordered" to do by his record company
who wanted him to be Hip & appeal to a "new generation of listeners."

A friend bought Aero DVD.
I gave him my copy of China Concerts so that he would Not judge JMJ by Aero.
I should have given him Oxy 7-13 as well : which is Superb.
Also directed him to Bourges, Sessions 2000, Metamorphoses, Whispers of Life, Okinawa
All of them Far better than Aero IMO.

I really like it,it sounds amazing in 5.1.
However,I did find Magnetic Fields 1 a bit weak compared to the Aero concert version & the Theremin during the track tends to annoy, but love the Theremin intro,it has a certain eerie feel!
Fave new track is Aerology.
