I often compare this album to Revolutions. Calypso 3 is a track that could have been on 'Revolutions'. I like all calypso parts, and I can't say that I have a favourite track on this album. Waiting For Cousteau is a special track, almost just the same sounds through the whole track, anyway I like.

Waiting for Cousteau, even though I like the tracks (even the long one, yet I don't listen to it that much) feels like a soundtrack to Paris La Defense. Only Calypso 1 was used after PLD, and even that only once. Even though WFC has been used more than that after it, the Calypso tracks could be reused.

All the three Calypsos are my favorites.

7.5/10

I LOVE this. The long track is the best relaxing track I've ever heard, brilliant details! I also like the Calypso tracks very much, part 2 and 3 being my favourite. The extended mix of Calypso 1 is slightly better than the original in my opinion.

Calypso 8.5/10
Calypso Part 2 9.5/10
Calypso Part 3 9/10
Waiting For Cousteau 10/10

Calypso Extended Remix 9/10

the trio of first tracks called Calypso is a great anthem of music. The last track I use as music if I have trouble falling asleap at times.

Not one of my favorites by him, but still an OK album. Calypso 1 and 2 are excellent, but Calypso 3 is just good. The title track is a nice relaxing track, but should have been shorter.

The Calypsos are great, but I'm not too keen on WFC. Discreet Music by Brian Eno is THE ambient album.
