In a recent interview for an italian local newspaper, Jarre said is going to prepare a New Tour at the end of 2008 or at the beginning of 2009! :omg:
After the last Oxygène Tour success, he wants to recreate the same feeling but with all his best tunes.
Waiting for confirmation, now!

This is the link to the scan of the article (10th may).

An excerpt from the new tour part:
L'Eco di Bergamo Newspaper wrote:[...]mentre il successo della tournée ha spinto il figlio di Maurice Jarre a mettere in cantiere un nuovo giro di concerti «in cui rileggerò i successi di tutta la mia carriera e non solo Oxygène. Partirò tra la fine dell'anno e l'inizio del 2009 e suonerò pure in Italia».
A quick translation...
Google Translation wrote:[...]while the success of the tour has pushed the son of Maurice Jarre to put in the pipeline a new round of concerts «in which I'll go over the successes of my whole career and not only Oxygène. I'll start between the end of the year and the beginning of 2009 and I'll play also in Italy».
He said also something about a concert in China in august...

Many thanks to Mirko "scamo" from Jarre.it, who found and uploaded the article.

Saywer has posted something before... :) about concert plan at oversea...

and Francis Rimbert has also mentionned for Juan that JMJ is about to continue the tour with Equinoxe and Rendez-vous, for example.

Grrrreat ! :D

I'd prefer it in this order:

2008 - new album
2008 / 2009 - new indoor tour with old synths - setlist includes all of jm's old tunes including tunes from his new album
2009 - new live dvd

Yep, your order is acceptable from my point of view. 8) Still, these choices are very tough. :?

This world wide tour will problably be in the same scale as the 97´ indoor tour with lots of lights and hopefully also some cool lasers!! :P I don´t think he will do the same small theatres anymore. He´s moving forward again me thinks! :P Looking forward to it!! :D
