G8 conference

So...Japan conference...CO2 cutting by half till 2050.
what do you think ?

Beijing has already come under fire with it's air polution, and some 29 days until the start of the Olympic's. The BBC were making a big thing of it yesterday.

I think that the G8 is a sad group of countries who will never admit that they have created the problems they debate all by themselves. And then they meet to tell everyone else to get up and help solving the problems. Just look at the enviroment-question. I've heard that G8 stands for 70% of all CO2 spills in the atmosphere, and they tell China and India to do all the cleaning up. That is the most rediciolus thing I've heard in a long time. Like the old Elvis-song says "Clean Up Your Own Back Yard" first.
